          Chapter One

The morning broke seeping through the cracks of the Old Red Barn. Outside the wind howled waking up Twilight from her deep sleep. She got up and put on her green boots and tattered leather jacket to go hunting when she heard the barn door creek open. She grabbed her knife ready to throw it when she saw her sister with a freshly killed deer.

“What are you doing with that knife?’’ asked Lilly who was wearing an  orange jacket with stained black leggings.

“I thought you were one of those…you know chasers,” said Twilight.

“No ,but they are right behind us!” exclaimed Lilly. The sisters were running from people who wanted their powers.

“Where are we going to go?” asked Lilly whose voice was cracking.

“Don’t cry, I’ve already covered that just in case this would happen. We are going to the north sewers. How close are they anyway?”asked Twilight.

“Pretty close, maybe two miles behind me,” Lilly said with a sniffle.T hat’s when Twilight looked down at her sister’s clothes.

“What are you wearing?!”exclaimed Twilight.”No wonder they found us! You were wearing bright colors!” And that’s when Lilly broke down.

“I’m so sorry!”she cried. “Remember yesterday how I was behind?”

“Yes,”said Twilight who was very confused about what was going on.

“The chasers, they caught me. They said that if I didn’t bring you to them, they would kill me!”sobbed Lilly, ”So I agreed! And now here I am, about to betray you because I wanted my life to be spared when I was jeopardizing yours!” she said. Astonished, all Twilight could do was stare.

“Well, if you’re still in for the whole betrayal thing, then I’m going to leave you here. But if you are not, then let’s get going,” said Twilight.

“No, I’m not still in for it anymore,” said Lilly.

She leaned in for a hug, but Twilight backed away.

Chapter Two

“She said she will be here in ten minutes, but it’s been two hours,” said one of the Chasers.

“Maybe she backed out of the deal,” said Andrew, one of the Chasers, “and the only way that will happen is if she had help from her sister,” he said proudly.

“Well, if you are so sure, then how about you get  Twilight,” said another one.

“Okay,” said Andrew while getting his suit, net, bow and arrow, and knife. His suit was a reflective silver that caught the powers and made them bounce back to the person who shot at him. The arrow had a rope connected to it, so it would loop around and grab the person. The knife would knock them out and the net dampened the person’s powers.

“Alright, I am ready to go,” he said, and dashed out of the cavern as quickly as possible.

Chapter Three

“Run!” yelled Twilight as they bolted through the lush green forest.

“Wait,” yelled Andrew, and then he had to use his net on them. He shot them down and, when he saw how scared they were, he started to explain, “Look, I don’t want to hurt you, I want to help you.”

They didn’t understand how he could help them if he was hunting them.

Twilight scoffed at this idea, “You think we are just supposed to believe you, after you and your crew of misfits chased us to the no land? Prove it!”

Prove it?” Andrew thought. “Okay, I could slam down my weapons. No, that would just show frustration.” He looked up at them. “I could give them food, but they will think it’s poisoned.” And then he got an idea. “I’ll cut them out of the net, and if they run, I won’t go after them.” So he did just that, but when he cut them loose, the girls didn’t run away. This shocked him. “Why didn’t they run? Did they see a difference in me?” thought Andrew with puzzlement.

Twilight took a step forward and looked at him with curiosity.

This is weird,” thought Andrew.

“Guys, I’ve got to use the restroom,” said Lilly.

“Okay, just don’t go North; that’s where the Chasers’ home base is located,” said Andrew.

“I will do my best to avoid it,” said Lilly.

She ran South as if she had to use the restroom, but she didn’t, instead she turned and went to the Chasers’ cavern.

Chapter Four

Lilly had made it to the cavern. When she stepped inside, the boys immediately saw her. Peter ran up and slammed her to the cave’s wall holding a knife at her throat asking, “Where is she? Where is your lovely sister?”

Lilly calmly looked at him with piercing eyes that made his blood freeze in his veins.
